HaUI Marks the Success of ICRMAT 2024
Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) proudly hosted the 5th International Conference on Research in Management & Technovation (ICRMAT 2024) from August 9-10, 2024. The conference attracted significant attention, with over 600 authors from 62 universities, academies, and enterprises across nine countries, including the UK, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Malaysia, France, Canada, Iran, and Japan.
Overview of the ICRMAT 2024
ICRMAT 2024, co-organized by HaUI, the Academy of Finance, the University of Electricity, and the East Asia University of Technology, provided a platform for scholars, researchers, and industry experts to share their insights and explore new horizons in management and technological innovation. This marks the third time HaUI has hosted this prestigious event, reinforcing its commitment to advancing academic research and fostering international collaboration.
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of HaUI, expressed his honor in hosting the conference. He emphasized that organizing ICRMAT 2024 was not only a responsibility but also a valuable opportunity to showcase the capabilities and achievements of HaUI, the Academy of Finance, the University of Electricity, and the East Asia University of Technology. "This event serves as a bridge for scientists to exchange knowledge, connect, and cooperate in research, creating more opportunities for higher education institutions to enhance experience exchange and expand international cooperation in management, training, and scientific research," he noted.

The conference featured a series of keynote speeches that highlighted cutting-edge research and pressing global issues. Prof. Dr. Duc Khuong Nguyen presented on “Common Drivers of Commodity Futures?” offering insights into the factors influencing global commodity markets. Dr. Tri Thanh Vo discussed “Twin Transformation and Implications for Governance,” addressing the simultaneous digital and sustainability transitions and their impact on governance. Prof. Dr. Tam Nguyen tackled the ethical challenges in his talk “Balancing Performance and Ethics: Navigating AI Adoption in the Auditing Industry,” while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kanitsorn Terdpaopong explored the evolving landscape of corporate valuations with his presentation on “ESG - The New Paradigm of Corporate Valuations.”
These keynote talks, along with numerous panel discussions and paper presentations, provided attendees with a wealth of knowledge and opportunities for collaboration. The successful organization of ICRMAT 2024 further solidifies HaUI's position as a leading institution in fostering academic exchange and international cooperation. The event highlighted the university's strengths and contributed to the broader goals of enhancing research quality and promoting innovation across borders.
