In an automated monitoring system, each camera can observe an area, the camera's field of view in this paper is understood as the projection of the space that the camera picked up the image to the observation plane. This paper deals with a technique to divide observation area of two cameras based on line connecting the two intersection points. That technique can use for surveillance system with multiple cameras, in order to reduce switching the camera when tracking objects.
