Hanoi University of Industry meets with Zhongyuan University of Technology
On December 24th, 2018, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) received a delegation from Zhongyuan University of Technology (ZUT), China.
Attending the meeting, on HaUI side, there was Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Thi Le - Dean of Faculty of Garment Technology & Fashion Design, Dr. Nguyen Anh Ngoc - Dean of Faculty of Automotive Technology. On behalf of Zhongyuan University, Ms. Cao Jian - Vice Rector, Ms. Tan Heng - Head of International Cooperation Department and Ms. Sun Wei - Director of International Training Center were present at the meeting.
The overview of the meeting
This was the first visit of Zhongyuan University of Technology (ZUT) to Vietnam and ZUT chose HaUI to be the only university to exchange training cooperation. After introducing the history and the development of each institute, both sides discussed the possibility of cooperation in training activities, including: (1) short-term student exchange program (for students from Faculty of Garment Technology & Fashion Design); (2) Exchange program for lecturers from Faculty of Garment Technology & Fashion Design; (3) Cooperative training program 2 + 2; (4) summer camp for students of two universities. Also, Hanoi University of Industry wishes to receive ZUT lecturers to provide short-term teaching program to students who are studying Chinese language at HaUI.

The cooperation exchanges between the two sides will open up great opportunities for the officials, lecturers and students of the two universities to explore the cultures of the two countries and improve their language skills. At the end of the meeting, the two parties approved to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with some contents agreed at the meeting and soon carried out in the coming time.
