HaUI Students receive start-up funding from VinTech City

On August 30, VinTech City (a member of Vingroup) presented its university sponsorships and publicly announced funding for 8 Tech Startup Student Clubs Grant by VinTech City in the Northern universities. SIP Club (Students and Innovation with Purposes) from the Youth Union of HaUI is honored to receive funding.

The program is within the framework of cooperation and development of science and technology between VinTech City and 54 leading universities in Vietnam.

There are three main goals of this funding activity from Vintech City. Firstly, to promote and create an intensive and realistic start-up support environment for students from technology-oriented universities. Secondly, to support thinking training for students and modes of operating a technology startup in a university environment. Finally, early identify the talents with the necessary qualities to support them with useful resources and also build up their career development path in technology.

HaUI SIP Club will be funded and supported by VinTech City with the following contents:

  • Promoting the spirit of applied science and technology research and entrepreneurship thinking
  • Enhancing professional competence such as competitions in applied sciences, student entrepreneurship, specialized workshops
  • Improving students’s soft skills

At the event, VinTech City also held an innovative start-up seminar with the participation of prestigious speakers. Students had the opportunity to listen and discuss with experts in the field of entrepreneurship, especially in technology startups.
