Hanoi University of Industry expands its cooperation with Fukuoka Prefecture (Japan)
On October 22nd, 2019, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector of HaUI chaired the delegation of Fukuoka Prefecture (Japan) led by Mr. Tosho Matsuo, Acting Chairman of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly, Chairman of the Federation of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly Members for Japan - Vietnam Friendship visiting and working at the university.
Overview of the meeting
Introducing the outstanding development achievements of the University, PhD. Bui Thi Ngan affirmed that those results have been positively contributed by partners and businesses, including Japanese investors as well as Fukuoka prefecture. Especially, the cooperation between LETCO Company, HaUI with organizations and businesses in Fukuoka in the field of studying abroad and labor export. Hanoi University of Industry hopes that the two sides will strengthen cooperation on student exchange between HaUI and Fukuoka educational institutions in particular and Japan in general in the near future.

LETCO's representative, Mr. Bui Kim Son - Director stated that the company implements many cooperation programs with organizations, businesses and schools in Japan to bring thousands of trainees, technicians, international students working and studying in Japan. Up to now, LETCO has sent 550 trainees and technicians to Fukuoka.
Acting Chairman of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly Tosho Matsuo affirmed that the positive results in cooperation between Hanoi University of Industry and organizations and businesses in Fukuoka have contributed significantly to promoting better relations between Vietnam and Japan. He emphasized that members of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly will make every effort to continue nurturing and developing the relationship between Fukuoka Prefecture and LETCO, HaUI.
