Job opportunities for IT students at HCL Technologies, India
On the afternoon of September 24, 2019, a meeting was took place between Hindustan Computers Limited (HCL) Technologies, India and Hanoi University of Industry.
Attending the meeting, toward HaUI, there were the presence of Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector, Dr. Le Viet Anh - Director of Center for International Cooperation and Dr. Ngo Duc Vinh - Dean of Faculty of Information Technology (FIT). From HCL Technologies, India, there was the presence of Mr. Sanjay Gupta - Executive Vice President and other members.
Overview of the meeting
At the meeting, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan introduced the history, achievements and enrollment results in 2019 of Hanoi University of Industry. Over the past years, IT training has been focused on investment and development by HaUI in terms of staff, lecturers, high-quality training programs and facilities. In the future, HaUI will continue to invest in training high-quality human resources in IT to meet the requirements of the digital technology era and look forward to an important collaboration with HCL Technologies Group.
Dr. Ngo Duc Vinh - Dean of Faculty of Information Technology gave an overview of the Faculty. He affirmed that HaUI’s IT students were instructed according to advanced programs, having specialized knowledge along with skills, interned in large enterprises such as FPT Software, Game Loft, Power Gate, etc. Therefore, over 70% of students have jobs in their major and integrated very quickly with the practical environment.
Mr. Gupta - Executive Vice President of HCL Technologies Group thanked for the friendly reception of the University
Mr. Sanjay Gupta thanked the University leaders for the warm welcome and was impressed with the achievements of HaUI. He emphasized that HCL is looking for cooperation opportunities in the technology field to train IT engineers to meet the labor market requirements in Japan and other countries where HCL has branches.
The meeting was successful with the hope of having future cooperation between the two parties
After the meeting, Mr Gupta and the delegation of HCL Technologies Group visited the Faculty of Information Technology.
