Hanoi University of Industry works with SMC Corporation Vietnam
On November 29th, Dr Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) had a working meeting with Mr. Gerald Ho - General Manager of SMC Corporation Vietnam to discuss about collaboration and how to support training and research activities for lecturers and students.
Previously in May 2019, SMC Corporation Vietnam presented a new pneumatic lab to Hanoi University of Industry worth USD 100,690 (equivalent to VND 2.3 billion), located on the 3rd floor, A7 Building of Vietnam-Japan Center.

On behalf of SMC Corporation Vietnam, Mr Gerald Ho - General Manager affirmed that HaUI is a multi-disciplinary training school oriented to technology application, and the company's strength is also to provide equipment suitable for advanced technical training. Therefore, with the desire to support the training and research process for lecturers and students, the Company will have more meaningful and suitable programs to the school.

Mr Gerald Ho committed that SMC will equip HaUI another technical room located in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and there will be a number of scholarships awarded to students with excellent academic achievements in the coming time. Besides, the company is also pleased to welcome lecturers from Hanoi University of Industry to attend the company's free skills training course in Bac Giang province.

Recognizing the cooperation and positive support from SMC Corporation Vietnam for HaUI, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan emphasized that HaUI always focuses on associating, cooperating and using effectively all resources from businesses, especially the support from SMC Corporation Vietnam in the process of building and setting up equipment system for training, improving the quality and efficiency in training high-quality human resources, adapting to the requirements of the evolution industry 4.0.
