Seminar on "Business mindset in Japanese Enterprises"
On October 22, 2024, the School of Economics (SE) ( under Hanoi University of Industry) organized a seminar titled "Business mindset in Japanese Enterprises." This event is part of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club of the School of Economics (SEIC), aimed at enhancing lecturers and students' awareness and practical understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Overview of the event
In the opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Nga, Headmaster of the School of Economics, emphasized the importance of raising awareness about innovation and entrepreneurship in the context of a rapidly changing global economy. She affirmed that through activities such as seminars and conferences, SE’s lecturers and students would have the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and broaden their perspectives on future career paths.
Recently, the School of Economics officially became a member of the Vietnam University and College Innovation and Entrepreneurship Network (VNEI). Alongside this milestone, the establishment of the Innovation Club marked a significant step forward, providing lecturers and students access to courses on innovation and entrepreneurship. This development fosters creativity and entrepreneurial mindset, aligning with Vietnam’s ongoing efforts to promote economic exchange and international integration.

The seminar featured speakers from both Japan and Vietnam, who shared their experiences in innovation, entrepreneurship, and practical lessons in management and business mindset in Japanese enterprises. These speakers offered fresh insights into corporate culture, the spirit of creativity, and how Japanese companies continuously innovate to meet global market demands.

The program went beyond theoretical discussions, helping students recognize the importance of long-term strategic thinking, discipline, and a sense of responsibility - key factors that allow Japanese companies to sustain growth.
