In his opening speech, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc, Rector of HaUI, emphasized that the rapidly changing global landscape presents both opportunities and challenges for universities. Key Topics in University Governance
The seminar also focused on crucial topics such as restructuring universities based on a three-tier multidisciplinary model, fostering a strong university culture, implementing OKR (Objectives and Key Results) for performance management, positioning university products, enhancing student support services, marketing and communication strategies, and digital transformation.
Discussions also addressed the decentralization of governance between the university system and affiliated schools, the development goals and mechanisms for science and technology, innovation, international collaboration, and strategies for attracting international experts and high-quality human resources.
Strengthening Collaboration between HaUI and UEH
To reinforce cooperation between HaUI and UEH, the two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in training and scientific research. The agreement also includes faculty and student exchange programs and joint efforts in quality assurance.
