HaUI students to compete in the 12th National Student Chemistry Olympiad
On the morning of April 2, the Faculty of Chemical Technology, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a meeting to honor students who achieved outstanding results in the university-level Chemistry Competition and to officially send off the team representing HaUI at the 12th National Student Chemistry Olympiad.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice-Rector of HaUI, emphasized that the Chemistry Olympiad is an efficient and specialized academic platform that fosters student learning and research. It also serves as a valuable opportunity to identify and nurture young talents with a passion for scientific discovery. "This competition is not only a stage to showcase talent and confidence but also a chance for students to engage in academic exchange, expand their knowledge, and affirm the position of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Hanoi University of Industry in both academic and professional spheres," he stated.
At the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Mai Huong - Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technology (FCT) congratulated students on their achievements in the university-level contest and expressed their confidence in the team heading to the national competition.
The 10-member team selected for the national competition represents more than 1,500 students of the FCT and over 32,000 students of HaUI. It includes outstanding individuals with a strong passion for chemistry and active participation in applied research projects.
Since its inception in 2003, the National Student Chemistry Olympiad has held 11 editions, attracting thousands of chemistry enthusiasts from prestigious universities across the country. Over the years, HaUI's Faculty of Chemical Technology has consistently made a strong impression with remarkable achievements.

Don’t be overly pressured by the results. Instead, see this as a valuable opportunity to challenge yourselves, to learn, and to grow. I wish all teachers and students good health and excellent results in the upcoming competition,” she shared warmly.
Student Nguyen Thi Hai Dan, the team leader, also delivered remarks at the event, expressing determination and appreciation for the support from faculty and peers
The 12th National Student Chemistry Olympiad will be held from April 15 to 19, 2025, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
