The 2024 Hanoi Student Handball Tournament brought vibrant energy and fierce competition to the Hà Nam campus of Hanoi University of Industry. Over two thrilling days, the event gathered 11 exceptional teams from universities, academies, and colleges across Hanoi, showcasing remarkable athleticism, sportsmanship, and the unifying spirit of student sports.

The 2024 Hanoi Student Handball Championship gathered 11 exceptional teams from universities, academies, colleges, and professional institutions across the Hanoi region.

Dr. Nguyễn Văn Thiện, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, emphasized that the tournament was not only a sporting event but also an opportunity for students to connect, exchange experiences, and enhance their physical fitness. HaUI has always placed great emphasis on sports development, regularly organizing tournaments to create a healthy and dynamic recreational environment for students, with prominent sports such as football, badminton, basketball, and handball.

This year's handball competition showcased thrilling moments, with precise throws, breathtaking jumps, and intense matches that captivated both spectators and fans. Additionally, the tournament provided an excellent platform for athletes from different educational institutions to exchange experiences, share knowledge, and promote the practice and competitive spirit of handball at universities, academies, and colleges in Hanoi.

Mr. Trần Xuân Kiên, Director of the Center for Physical Education and Sports at Hanoi University of Industry, presented the Award for Potential Excellence to the women’s team from Hanoi Metropolitan University, the men’s team from Hanoi Metropolitan University, and the men’s team from the University of Economics - Technology for Industries
