HaUI and Nippon Travel Agency Forge Strategic Partnership for Workforce Development in Japan
On February 28, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and Nippon Travel Agency (Japan) officially signed a cooperation agreement, opening new opportunities for high-quality workforce development to meet the demands of the Japanese labor market. This event marks a significant milestone in the strategic partnership between the two parties, aiming for sustainable and effective collaboration.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), HaUI and Nippon Travel Agency have committed to cooperating in several key areas, including:
1. Enhancing awareness of workforce recruitment in Japan: Providing students and Vietnamese workers with better access to information on career opportunities in Japan.
2. Supporting Japanese businesses in recruiting Vietnamese personnel: Connecting high-quality human resources with Japanese enterprises to meet real-world industry needs.
3. Organizing seminars and specialized conferences: Co-hosting professional events in both Vietnam and Japan to improve career skills and promote labor mobility.
4. Promoting Japanese language education: Expanding and improving Japanese language training in Vietnam, equipping students with the necessary linguistic competencies to work in Japan.
5. Facilitating connections with enterprises, industry associations, and government agencies: Expanding cooperation networks and creating more career opportunities for students and workers.
6. Exploring additional areas of collaboration: Both parties are open to expanding cooperation into other fields upon mutual agreement, maximizing their respective strengths.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of HaUI, expressed his delight in welcoming the delegation from Nippon Travel Agency. He emphasized HaUI’s strengths in training high-quality human resources in mechanical engineering, electronics, and automotive industries, as well as the success of LETCO Company (a subsidiary of HaUI) in labor export, overseas study programs, and international internships. The partnership between HaUI, LETCO, and Nippon Travel Agency is expected to foster a long-term development strategy, leveraging the full potential of both sides.

He was particularly impressed by LETCO’s outstanding results in overseas study programs, internships, and labor export. With these promising potentials, he expressed hope for a deeper and more extensive collaboration in the future, bringing greater opportunities for Vietnamese students to pursue careers in Japan.
