HaUI Celebrates Vietnamese Women's Day: A Tribute to Women’s Contributions
On October 18, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a meaningful meeting with the University's Women's Union to commemorate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024). The event was a heartfelt tribute to the history and achievements of the Women's Union, as well as the remarkable contributions of women within the university.

In his congratulatory speech, Comrade Le Hong Quan, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the University Council represented the university’s leadership in extending heartfelt best wishes to the female staff, workers, and students. He expressed deep appreciation for their contributions and emphasized the pivotal role women play in all aspects of life. "Women hold a very important position in the development of each family, society, and nation," he remarked, underscoring the historical and contemporary significance of Vietnamese women in shaping the country's progress.

Comrade Le Hong Quan also highlighted the historical importance of women in Vietnam, noting their unwavering dedication across all periods, especially in times of national development and defense. "Throughout history, Vietnamese women have always played a particularly important role, making great contributions to the process of building, protecting, and developing the nation," he stated.
Reflecting on the university’s remarkable journey of over 126 years, Comrade Le Hong Quan paid tribute to the female staff, workers, and students who have left their mark on the institution. Their tireless efforts and achievements have greatly contributed to HaUI's reputation and legacy.
