Students from Cat Ba High School are keen to explore the university life at Hanoi University of Industry

On January 18, 2024, 370 students from grades 10 and 11 of Cat Ba High School (Cat Hai district, Hai Phong city), along with their teachers, parents, embarked on a career orientation trip to Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI).

Despite the long journey from Cat Ba, Hai Phong to Hanoi University of Industry, the students were still full of energy.

Stepping into modern lecture halls and spacious auditoriums for the first time, many students were fascinated by the modern educational environment and the convenient facilities of the university.

Guided by HaUI’s officials and volunteer students, the high school students experienced a day as university students at Hanoi University of Industry through hands-on career exploration activities in HaUI's practice rooms, laboratories, and simulation classrooms.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh - Principal of Cat Ba High School, shared that providing early career orientation for high school students is always one of the important tasks of the school. This visit to Hanoi University of Industry holds even greater significance as some of the majors offered by HaUI are strengths of the local area, such as tourism, services, hotels, logistics, food technology, etc. Currently, these fields are all in dire need of workforce. The automotive technology sector is also booming in the region, as Vinfast, the largest automobile manufacturing plant in Southeast Asia, is located in Cat Hai

Vu Quang Vinh, a student from class 10C3 of Cat Ba High School, who became acquainted with Hanoi University of Industry when HaUI's Robocon team won the national Robocon championship in 2023, visiting Hanoi University of Industry today was a pleasant surprise due to its extremely modern facilities.

Do Thi Mai Thuong and Dang Thi Linh from class 11B1 of Cat Ba High School expressed their fondness for the volunteer uniform and their intention to participate in volunteer activities to contribute to making society a better place.

Experiencing the student meals at HaUI's canteen was the most anticipated moment for the Cat Ba High School students.
