Workshop on Hanoi University of Industry’s Technical Model and experience in implementing training courses for vocational teachers

The workshop on Hanoi University of Industry’s Technical Model and experience in implementing training courses for vocational teachers took place on April 14th, 2016 at HaUI.

Associate Professor Dr. Tran DucQuy - Rector, Head of HaUI – JICA Project Management started the conference.

Their speeches covered the history and development HaUI - JICA project implemented at the university. It was followed by the speech about the project’s targets by Mr. Nguyen Van Thao - Deputy Director of Human Resource Department - Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

Mr. Ta Duc Huy - Deputy Head of Teachers & Vocational training Administrators – Ministry of Labor- Invalids and Social Affairs presented the training technical teachers and the need for the duplication of the model.

Mr. Takashi Matsushita - Senior Advisor of JICA Vietnam Office JICA representative spoke about cooperation in education and vocational training in Vietnam.

Mr. Yorio Kanemaru - HaUI– JICA’s Chief Advisor made a speech about technical teacher training in Japan. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector presented the technical model of Hanoi University of Industry and technology transfer activities , building TOT program .

Shortly after the presentation of the contents of HaUI - JICA project, the conference continued with the exchange of technical model and vocational teacher training among Hanoi University of Industry, Vocational College of Technology and Ho Chi Minh City Vocational College of Technology.

In the afternoon, the workshop focused on thematic discussions between the expert groups on content of TOT training program; building TOT (surveying needs and capacity assessment), TOT program effectiveness based on industrial needs , the application of the content ...
