On the morning of 07/3/2017, The joint coordination committeeof HaUI - JICA project met for the 6th time at Hanoi University of Industry.
Present at the meeting are Mr. Le Huu Phuc - Director of International Cooperation Agency, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lam Giang, Vice Director of Human Resources Development Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade), Mr. Tran Van Nich, Director of Vocational Teaching Staff Agency (Bureau of Vocational training, Ministry of Labor, War invalids & Social Welfare), Mr. Ryusuke Monoi - First Secretary of Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, Mr. Kakioka Naoki, Vice Chief representative of JICA Vietnam office, leaders of two partner universities: Vocational College of Techniques and Technology and Technical College II and members of Committee and head of project groups working in HaUI-JICA project.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lam Giang chaired the meeting. Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice principal of the university reported the results of the operation from June 2016 to March 2017, as well as discussed the technical model of Hanoi University of Industry and short term courses organized in the university. Participants from Vietnam and Japan all expressed agreement to the report and high appreciation of the results achieved by the project, the sustainability it has demonstrated thus far and its widespread influence.
Agreeing to the summarizing report and based on the active discussion of participants, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lam Giang delivered the concluding remarks. She highly valued the active role played by the joint coordination committee in implementing the project, enabling it to highly exceed the established goals. She also stressed that it is essential that Ministry of Industry and Trade officially request JICA and related parties to advance the progress and proceed to Phase 4 of the project.
