HaUI students won Samsung Talent Program 2021

Four excellent students from Hanoi University of Industry won a Samsung Talent Program (STP) 2021 worth hundreds of millions of dong.

At the Awarding Ceremony of Samsung Talent Program 2021, Samsung Vietnam awarded scholarships to 24 outstanding students from 9 universities and institutes in the North. Hanoi University of Industry registered with 04 students, of which 03 were from the Faculty of Information Technology and 01 students from the Faculty of Electronics Engineering.
1. Nguyen Van Hung - K13, Computer Science 1 class, Faculty of Information Technology.
2. Tran Tuan Khanh - K13, Information Technology 5 class, Faculty of Information Technology.
3. Le Sy Toan - K13, Information Systems 2 class, Faculty of Information Technology.
4. Nguyen Minh Hieu - K13, Computer Engineering 1 class, Faculty of Electronics Engineering.

According to the Organizing Committee, the value of each scholarship includes:
- More than 72 million VND in cash/student;
- Basic and intensive algorithm training;
- Internship and do new technology projects (3 months) with the guidance of experienced engineers;
- Become an official employee of the largest Samsung R&D in Southeast Asia after graduating;
- Working with various Mobile and PC platforms (Android, iOS, Windows, Ubuntu) on all System - Framework - Application subclasses;
- Working with advanced technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, Big Data on Cloud Computing platform (Back-end/Front-end/Full-stack developer);
- Long-term onsite opportunities in major R&D centers in Korea, Singapore, UK, Australia, USA, India...
- Participate in Patent development with leading experts and create world No. 1 products.
STP is a cooperation initiative between Samsung Group and major universities in the North in order to develop high-quality human resources, incubate and nurture outstanding talents for the field of Vietnam's innovative software sector. Since its inception in 2012, more than 650 scholarships with a total value of more than 50 billion VND have been awarded to students, demonstrating social responsibility but above all a commitment to long-term investment and sustainability of Samsung in Vietnam.
