HaUI Students Shine at the 2024 National Student Mathematics Olympiad

The 30th National Mathematics Olympiad for Students held in Da Nang from April 8 to 13, 2024, witnessed a remarkable feat by the Mathematics Olympiad team from the Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI).

The team's outstanding performance secured 7 prestigious prizes, comprising 3 Second prizes and 4 Third prizes, in a competition that drew 95 delegations from various academies and universities across Vietnam. This achievement not only reflects the students' dedication and aptitude but also underscores HaUI's commitment to nurturing talent in mathematics.

The surge in participation, with 699 students taking part out of 809 registrations, marks a significant milestone in the Olympiad's history. The Organizing Committee noted this as the highest number of candidates in the event's 30-year legacy, showcasing the growing interest and enthusiasm for mathematics among students nationwide.

The Olympiad comprised two distinct subjects: Algebra and Calculus. The competition rigorously tested participants' mathematical prowess, requiring a deep understanding of concepts and problem-solving skills.

The HaUI Mathematics Olympiad team's success can be attributed to meticulous preparation and unwavering determination. Their triumph in both Calculus and Linear Algebra categories highlights their comprehensive command over diverse mathematical domains.

Among the distinguished winners are:

- Nguyen Thanh Lan, from class KHMT2-K17, secured Second prize in Algebra;

- Ngo Quoc Thai, class Robot1-K18, Second prize in Calculus;

- Vu Van Thanh, class KHMT1-K18, Second prize in Calculus;

- Do Duc Anh, class KHMT1-K18, Third prize in Algebra;

- Vuong Ngo Anh Hong, class Robot1-K18, Third prize in Algebra;

- Phung Hai Duong, class IT5-K18, Third prize in Calculus;
