HaUI launches the 2025 Reading Movement and Library Writing Contest

To promote the culture of reading among students and celebrate Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) announces the launch of the Reading Movement and the 3rd Library Writing Contest.

I. Objectives and requirements

1. Objectives

- To celebrate Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025.

- To enhance students' awareness and foster a reading culture.

- To strengthen students' engagement with the university library.

- To encourage students to contribute ideas and initiatives for the development of library activities.

2. Requirements

- The program should be organized effectively and meaningfully, avoiding formalities.

- It should create a positive impact among students.

- The contest consists of two parts:

+ Reflections on reading experiences or impressions of the university library.

+ Proposals for promoting reading culture and improving library activities.

II. Timeline & Venue

1. Timeline

- Kick-off event and thematic talk: 9:00 AM, Friday, March 21, 2025.

- Essay writing period: March 22, 2025 – May 15, 2025.

- Submission deadline: May 16, 2025 – May 23, 2025.

- Evaluation period: May 25, 2025 – May 30, 2025.

- Award ceremony: Expected on October 18, 2025 (specific details to be announced later).

2. Venue: Hall C19, Ha Nam Campus
