Seminar “Energy efficiency issue and orientation for research and development”

On October 23rd 2015, HaUI Institute of Technology organized a seminar on “Energy efficiency issue and orientation for research and development”

Attending the seminar were Dr. Ha Xuan Quang, Vice-Rector in charge of Science- Technology, and Deans of Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Postgraduate Center, HaUI lecturers and some invited scientists outside the university.

In the seminar, Dr. Dang Hoang Anh (Department of Electronic Technology- Institute of Technology-HaUI) briefly presented some research abroad and raised a number of issues about electrical energy monitoring. Additionally, he proposed solutions to save energy in buildings, to make the full use of energy system and to develop and integrate renewable energy sources. Also, some orientations for research on energy saving in Vietnam Phase 2015-2020 were brought up.

The seminar served as a forum for the scientists to exchange information, academic papers and share research ideas in this field. A great number of valuable ideas for the development of HaUI science and technology were shared in order to enhance research quality and put forward technical research proposals in energy field in the future. At the end of the seminar, Dr. Ha Xuan Quang drew conclusions and pointed out orientation for scientific studies particularly in HaUI and generally in Vietnam to follow the current trend and Vietnam National Energy Efficiency Program.
