HaUI holds a meeting with the Survey group on the development of a set of vocational skill standards

Dr. Pham Van Bong, HaUI Vice President had a meeting with the Survey Group on the development a set of vocational skill standards for 3 nations including Vietnam, the Philippines and Australia in 3 areas: metal cutting and automobile technology on May, 27^th, 2015.

This is the first time the investigation group including representatives from Australian Department of Education and Training, Manufacturing Skills Australia, and Technical Education and skill Development of the Philippines has paid their first visit to HaUI.

Other HaUI representatives from Department of Education and Training, Faculty of Automobile Technology, and Center for Vocational Skill Assessment and Enterprise Partnership also attended the meeting.

Carrie Rocher, on behalf of the group, was very impressed with the infrastruture, the available system of machines serving for training at the workshops at HaUI and said that the practical observation survey made great contribution to the development of a set of skill standards for the 3 nations: Vietnam, the Philippines and Australia in the two fields of metal cutting and Automobile Technology.

Besides, Carrie Rocher expressed her thank for the warm welcome and hope that the visit will make a basic foundation for the long-term cooperation of the two sides in the future.
