IT Festival 2025: A launchpad for high-quality IT human resources
The IT Festival 2025 - a flagship annual event organized by the School of Information and Communications Technology (SICT), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) - has made waves with a series of dynamic activities. These include academic and skills competitions, seminars on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education and research, and an information technology exhibition.
SICT recently signed cooperation agreements with several prominent organizations, including NIX Education, VTI Education, ITPLUS Academy, Vietnam Institute of Safety Education Science JSC, and BKACAD
The event takes place at a time when Vietnam’s IT job market is experiencing unprecedented growth, especially in high-demand fields such as AI, Big Data, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. According to the Vietnam IT Market Report 2024–2025 by TopDev, a leading IT recruitment platform, the technology sector continues to dominate hiring trends across the Asia-Pacific region, including Vietnam.
TopDev's report also revealed that the average monthly salary for software developers in Vietnam in 2024 ranged from 1,100 - 3,000 USD/month, depending on individual skills and experience. Notably, AI engineers and cybersecurity specialists command salaries well above the average due to the scarcity of talent and the critical importance of these roles within modern enterprises.
