Writing contest "Hanoi in my heart"

On the 70th anniversary of Hanoi Liberation Day, the 25th anniversary of Hanoi was recognized by UNESCO as the "City for Peace", the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations held a writing contest with the theme "Hanoi in my heart".

This contest aims to ignite the love, and pride of overseas Vietnamese with Hanoi. It also creates opportunities for international friends to show their feelings and promotes mutual understanding and solidarity between Vietnamese people and Hanoians and international friends.

1. Contestants: Foreigners and overseas Vietnamese

2. Content: The writing essays are about Hanoi's life, impressions, and feelings during the time of living in Hanoi

3. Regulations on writing

- Length: not more than 2000 words, typing in Time New Roman font.

- Language: Vietnamese or English

- Genre: short story, memoirs,

- The Organizing Board highly appreciates the writing with images (the images are qualified for newspaper printing).

- The writing essay is not copied in any form, and the quotations must be noted; if copyright infringements occur, the writing will be canceled or the prizes will be withdrawn (if any).

- The contestants can submit unlimited writing.

- The writing must include name, job, working address, accommodation, telephone number, and e-mail and sent to e-mail: lehuonggiang1974@gmail.com

- The Organizing Board has the right to use the writing essays for updating in mass media.

4. Prizes

- 01 Special Prize, 02 First Prize, 03 Second Prize, 05 Third Prize, 10 Consolation Prize.

5. Time for submission

- Submission time: May 2024 to September 10th, 2024.

- The summarizing and awarding ceremony will be held in October 2024.
