The 33rd Vietnam Student Olympiad in Informatics (OLP’24) and the ICPC ASIA 2024 International Collegiate Programming Contest
Hanoi University of Industry will host the 33rd Vietnam Student Informatics Olympiad (OLP’24) and the ICPC ASIA 2024 International Collegiate Programming Contest.
1. Objectives
- To provide opportunities for students to independently research, enhance creativity, teamwork skills, and integrate international standards in Information Technology at universities and colleges in Vietnam and across Asia.
- To serve as a bridge for networking, exchange, and collaboration among universities and colleges in Vietnam and other Asian countries.
- To promote and introduce Hanoi University of Industry to domestic and international communities.
2. Time and Venue
- Time: December 10 - 13, 2024.
- Venue: Hanoi University of Industry, No. 298 Cau Dien Road, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi.
3. Competition Categories
3.1. Vietnam Student Informatics Olympiad
- Individual Super Cup category.
- Individual IT major category.
- Individual non-IT major category.
- Open Source Software category.
- Procon Vietnam programming.
3.2. ICPC ASIA Programming Contest
- ICPC team category (including international teams).
- Non-ICPC specialized team category.

The International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is an algorithmic programming contest for college students. Teams of three, representing their university, work to solve the most real-world problems, fostering collaboration, creativity, innovation, and the ability to perform under pressure. Through training and competition, teams challenge each other to raise the bar on the possible. Quite simply, it is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world.
