The Unveiling Vietnam 2023 Competition - Discovering the Beauty of Vietnam

The participants of the Unveiling Vietnam 2023 contest, organized by School of Foreign Languages and Tourism, Hanoi University of Industry, on the evening of November 30, brought the audience an exciting journey to experience the natural landscapes, daily life, culture, and the quintessence of Vietnam on the S-shaped land.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Ha Thanh Tung - Secretary of the Youth Union of the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism (HaUI) stated that Unveiling Vietnam 2023 marks the beginning of the first English-language tourism competition, contributing to building a multicultural environment where language is emphasized. The competition is an exciting playground for students to showcase their knowledge, creativity, and passion for tourism in the context of globalization, thereby enhancing national pride and patriotism.

With the outstanding performance and creative spirit of the 05 teams in the final round, the Unveiling Vietnam 2023 has explored the hidden "gems" of Vietnamese tourism in different regions such as Northwest, Red River Delta, South Central Coast, Truong Son - Tay Nguyen, and the South.

The competition was organized in a theatrical format

The participating teams brought impressive and captivating performances, creating a lively atmosphere at the final round. The enchanting melodies of Quan Ho folk songs from Bac Ninh, the heartfelt folk songs from Nghe AN, or the vibrancy of Ho Chi Minh City, all painted a distinctive artistic picture of the tourism regions in Vietnam. Through their real-life experiences, the contestants introduced tourists to unique cultural features, famous landmarks, and characteristic cultural and culinary experiences. Especially, the contestants demonstrated their knowledge, intelligence, and competence through questions about travel topics and community responsibilities.
