Center for Mechanical Engineering was established under Decision No. 85/QD-DHCN dated March 1, 2010 of the Rector of Hanoi University of Industry.

Function

Center for Mechanical Center has the function of practical training and providing services in the field of mechanics; research and application of science and technology to training, combined with production.

Facilities

The center is equipped with practice rooms and modern workshops with an area of nearly 4,000 m2, meeting the needs of training and scientific research. The system of practice workshops includes 4 CAD-CAM-CNC practice rooms; 25 practice rooms of Welding, Turning, Milling, Plating, Grinding, Repairing and 3 high-tech practice rooms of Turning, CNC Milling & Cutting.

Oriented development

In order to meet the training requirements and keep up with the trend of Industry 4.0 as well as the desire to become one of the socially trusted training centers, Center for Mechanical Engineering focuses on main goals as following:

- To train, foster and improve vocational skills for lecturer and staff to meet the requirements of the society.

- To equip students with soft skills, improve their knowledge of information technology and foreign languages.

- To strengthen the innovation of training programs towards application, collecting ideas of learners and employers.
