Cooking and Flower Arrangement Contest to celebrate 90th founding anniversary of Vietnam Women's Union

On October 19, 2020, HaUI held the Cooking and Flower Arrangement Contest on the occasion of 90th founding anniversary of Vietnam Women's Union.

The contest absorbed 21 teams that represented faculties, departments, centers and company within the university. At the competition, each team took part in 2 test parts: cooking and flower arrangement.

The cooking competition with the theme “Vietnamese traditional dishes”, materials were provided by the organizers. Within 90 minutes, the teams brought meals with sufficient nutrients, ensured food safety and hygiene, a lot of ideas on decoration and names of dishes, and meaningful presentations.

The competition of flower arrangement with topic “Vietnamese women”, all teams created art products of unique and colorful flower arrangements. Each flowers basket was presented with a private style, but still towards the general topic of honoring Vietnamese women.

Finally, the organizers awarded prizes to outstanding teams at the competition as following:

Excellent prize to team: Department of Personnel - Administration & Center for Communications and Public relations. First Prize to 2 teams: Faculty of Accounting & Auditing; Center for Information Technology

Second Prize to 3 teams: Faculty of Tourism - Center for Continuing Education - Vietnam Japan Center; Faculty of Law & Political Science; Faculty of Information Technology.

Third Prize to 05 teams: Center for Dormitory Management; Department of Science & Technology - Center for International Cooperation - HaUI Institute of Technology - Center for Enterprise partnership; Faculty of Business Management; Library & Information Center; Faculty of Garment Technology and Fashion Design.

Consolation Prize to 10 teams: Faculty of Fundamental Sciences; Department of Asset Management; Department of Finance and Accounting - Department of Academic Affairs - Center for Postgraduate Studies; Faculty of Electrical Engineering; Letco Company; Faculty of Chemical Technology - Center for Automotive Technology & Driving Training - Center for Mechanical Engineering; Faculty of Foreign Languages; Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - Faculty of Automobile Technology - Healthcare Center - Center for Physical Education and Sports - Center for National Defence & Security Education; Quality Assurance Center - Testing & Assessment Center - Education Inspection Department; Faculty of Electronic Engineering.

The competition was closed with smiles, joyful memories, and close moments together as a family, which surely remain in mind of each HaUI member. The competition brought atmosphere comfortable, joyful, connecting HaUI members towards to build the university own culture, in order to serve for development of the university.
