On September 19th, 2013, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a meeting with 10 students getting full scholarship of training program between the Ministry of Knowledge Economy (Korea) and the Ministry of Public Trade.
Through cooperation between the Ministry of Knowledge Economy (Korea) and the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Korea University of Science and Technology has provided 10 full scholarships for HaUI’s outstanding students of Mechanical Engineering and Electronics Engineering Technology who has just successfully completed the entrance exam in 2013.
This is the second time HaUI’s students have taken part in the program. The students who have got the scholarship including one Mechanical Engineering student and nine Electronics Engineering Technology students. The academic program in Korea will last five years.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thao - Deputy Director of Human Resource Development - Ministry of Industry and Trade congratulated 10 students for being selected in the training program this year. It is an honor of HaUI in general as well as the students in particular.
On behalf of HaUI’s leaders, Dr. Tran Duc Quy – HaUI Rector gave the students his congratulations. This is an opportunity for students to show their own ability. He said that they have great responsibilities, so it is important for them to constantly strive for learning; maintain good health to complete the assigned tasks and have a healthy lifestyle as well. In addition, he hopes that the students will quickly acquire useful knowledge to foster and enhance their abilities and apply their knowledge to serve the university and their country – Vietnam.
On behalf of the students receiving the scholarship, Dam Van Ngoc gave thanks for HaUI’s consideration and support and promised to try to better learning, continue to improve themselves to be able to further significantly contribute to the development of the HaUI and Vietnam.
