Rector of HaUI has a meeting with the Governor of Saitama Prefecture, Japan

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University emphasized: "Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) always dedicate deep gratitude and desire to cooperate comprehensively with Saitama Prefecture in particular as well as with Japan in general.

On the morning of November 3, 2017, HaUI leaders had a meeting with the delegation of Saitama Prefecture of Japan, led by Mr. Kiyoshi Ueda.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Rector of HaUI; Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector; Representatives of functional departments, faculties and training centers of the university welcomed the delegation this morning.

On behalf of the university's leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy thanked the governor of Saitama Prefecture and representatives of enterprises in the province for visiting and working with the University.

Emphasizing the results of long-term cooperation between the HaUI and Japan in general, and Saitama Prefecture in particular, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy affirmed that "HaUI always dedicates deep gratitude and desires to cooperate with Japanese enterprises for a long term. Thanks to the positive impact of JICA project, the brand name of Hanoi University of Industry has been greatly recognized.” The rector also introduced that more than 600 students join trainee program in Japan; more than 300 students study in Japanese schools; 30 - 50 students take part in recruiting talented engineer program to work in Japanese enterprises annually. The university has been cooperating with many big Japanese enterprises and companies with branches in Vietnam such as: Nissan Techno Vietnam; Pasona Tech Vietnam; Canon, Toyota, etc.

Saitama Prefecture delegates visiting HaUI and expressing hope that there will have many opportunities to cooperate with the universities in all aspects in the future.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Rector of the University also expressed his wish to the Governor of Saitama Prefecture. He said: "Hopefully in the coming time, the Governor will continue to create favorable conditions for the businesses of Saitama Prefecture in Vietnam to have opportunities to cooperate with HaUI through the program of recruiting students to work in Japan. It is also a good opportunity for students of the University to practice, to train at the Saitama businesses as well as to enhance relationship between lecturers of HaUI with colleagues in universities and colleges in Saitama Prefecture."

Thanks to the warm welcome of Hanoi University of Industry, Mr. Kiyoshi Ueda - Saitama Prefecture Governor of Japan expressed his belief and happiness because HaUI has cooperated with the Government of Japan as well as the Japanese enterprises to implement a lot of effective programs. Hopefully in the future, many enterprises of Saitama Province will have opportunities to cooperate, exchange and receive HaUI students to study and work in Saitama Prefecture.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy thanked Mr. Kiyoshi Ueda, Saitama Prefecture governor, and hoped that the cooperation between HaUI and enterprises in Saitama Prefecture will be implemented as soon as possible.

Mr. Kiyoshi Ueda, Saitama Prefecture governor of Japan emphasized: "We always welcome HaUI students and hopefully in the near future, there will be more opportunities to cooperate with the University in many aspects."

At the end of the meeting, the delegation of Saitama Prefecture together with the HaUI's leaders attended the workshop named "The introduction of Japanese enterprises and employment opportunities". This is a workshop organized by Japanese enterprises in cooperation with HaUI to help HaUI students find opportunities for graduation internships. Students can also directly involved in interviews and recruitment at the workshop.
