Sookmyung Women’s Univeristy Vice President pays a visit to HaUI

Sookmyung Women’s Univeristy Vice President Kyudok Hong and the delegates paid a visit to HaUI on January 15^th, 2015 and had a meeting with HaUI President Dr. Tran Duc Quy.

At the meeting, Dr Tran Duc Quy gave a brief introduction about the university in which he strongly emphasized that HaUI is one of the universities in Vietnam focusing on practice and application with a wide range of levels and fields. Regarding the international cooperation, especially with Korea, the president said the cooperation between the university and Korean Univeristies, Research Institutes, Enterprises and Corporations has brought about considerable achievements. Besides, one of the development strategy of the university is to enhance cooperation with Korean partners in education and training.

On talking with Dr. Tran Duc Quy and leaders of Departments and functional units of the university, Kyudok Hong said he have heard about HaUI but this is the first time he have had an opportunity to vistit the university. He considers HaUI one of the large-scale, modern and prestigious training units in Vietnam and hoped that the two sides will establish a sucessful cooperation in the future.

On this occasion, Kyudok Hong also visited Vietnam-Korea Mechanical Center, Vietnam-Japan Center and some functional units of the university
