Decision Announcement Ceremony to Award the Certificate of Education Quality Accreditation for Hanoi University of Industry

On January 9, 2023, Hanoi University of Industry solemnly held a ceremony to announce the decision and receive the Certificate of Accreditation of the Education Quality Accreditation in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Overview of the ceremony

Attending the ceremony were: Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien, Director of the Education Accreditation Center, Hanoi National University; Mr. Pham Vuong, Head of the Administrative Department, Center for Accreditation, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

On the side of Hanoi University of Industry, there were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy, Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University, Chairman of the Council for self-assessment of the quality of educational institutions; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hong Quan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Nguyen Van Thien, Vice-Rector of the University; Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc, Vice-Rector of the University; along with heads and deputies of faculties, centers, organizations in the University.

Mr. Pham Vuong, Head of the Organizational Administration Department, Center for Accreditation, Vietnam National University, Hanoi announced the decision to grant the certificate of accreditation of educational institutions for Hanoi University of Industry

For many years continuously, Hanoi University of Industry has always focused on improving the quality of training through quality accreditation. This is considered one of the critical tasks to ensure standards in management, administration and training organization according to the requirements of quality accreditation standards.

In 2017, the University was recognized to meet the quality standards of higher education institutions. Along with the evaluation of the quality of educational institutions, the University promotes the assessment of the quality of training programs. As a result, up to now, the University has completed a self-assessment of 33 training programs, of which 16 training programs have been recognized for quality accreditation.

Following that success, in 2022, the University conducted an assessment of the quality of educational institutions and was recognized by the Accreditation Council for the results.

Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien, Director of the Center for Education Accreditation, Vietnam National University, Hanoi warmly congratulated and praised the University’s successes in the development process and in the accreditation of educational institutions

According to Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien, the indicators related to staff, training programs as well as scientific research and community service activities of Hanoi University of Industry have made many breakthroughs in cycle 2 and always maintain the top 10 in the country in terms of quality accreditation of educational institutions. The results achieved are the basis to help the University affirm the quality, position and prestige of the education system in the country.

At the same time, Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien expressed her wish that Hanoi University of Industry will continue to promote its existing strengths, promote the University’s brand for higher education in the country and firmly step on the path of internationalization.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy, Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University expressed deep gratitude to the Center for Education Accreditation, Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the officials, lecturers, and students of the University for always accompanying, supporting and coordinating to perform important tasks that help Hanoi University of Industry achieve the accreditation of educational institutions.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy also affirmed that quality accreditation is both a responsibility, core goal, and value that Hanoi University of Industry always aims for. Accreditation of educational institutions is a measure of the University’s high trust in society. Today's results are both pride and motivation for the University to continue promoting the strengths it has achieved; strive to innovate to overcome limitations, thereby improving the training quality of the University in cycle 3.

The ceremony ended successfully, marking a new development milestone in the quality of educational institutions of Hanoi University of Industry, which is the foundation and motivation for the University to continue improving the quality of educational institutions to meet the mission: "Training high-quality human resources; creating and transferring knowledge and technology to society and community to meet the requirements of the industrial revolution era, serving society and the country".
