HaUI Youth join 20 million Vietnamese Young People in shaping the Nation’s Global Standing in the Digital Era

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended a dialogue with young Vietnamese people on March 24 in Hanoi. The dialogue, held under the theme “Vietnamese youth pioneering science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation”, was part of the activities marking the 94th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union establishment (March 26, 1931 - 2025).

The event gathered 300 outstanding youth representatives from across the country, including eight from Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI). The dialogue provided a meaningful platform for youth to share emotions, reflections on national progress, and present proposals for building and safeguarding the country.

In recent years, Vietnamese youth - particularly HaUI students - have affirmed their pioneering role in science-technology advancement, innovation, and digital transformation. Their contribution is reflected in six notable hallmarks:

1. Breakthroughs in Learning, Research, and Technological Development

HaUI students are known for their academic curiosity and relentless efforts in research and innovation. Many have achieved remarkable success in national and international science competitions, demonstrating their intelligence and capability. Their research often addresses real-world issues, including renewable energy, artificial intelligence, and information technology, contributing to Vietnam’s socio-economic development.

2. A Thriving Startup and Innovation Ecosystem

HaUI actively fosters student entrepreneurship through supportive programs, startup competitions, and innovation incubator clubs. Many HaUI students have founded tech enterprises, developing creative products and services that drive the digital economy. Their bold thinking, willingness to take risks, and responsibility reflect the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit of HaUI youth.

3. Active Participation in National Digital Transformation

HaUI youth are not just tech-savvy students - they are also creative pioneers applying technology to solve practical challenges. Through scientific research projects, coding contests, volunteer activities, and club initiatives, they have developed IT applications and software that benefit the community, contributing to the building of a smart, modern digital society.

4. Preserving and Promoting National Cultural Identity

While immersed in the digital age, HaUI students remain committed to preserving Vietnam’s cultural heritage. As cultural ambassadors, they engage in learning and promoting traditional culture and folk arts. They actively participate in union and youth activities that spread and celebrate national values in innovative ways.

5. Embracing International Cooperation

HaUI students take part in international exchange programs, workshops, and competitions, enhancing their skills and global outlook. These engagements not only enrich their personal growth but also showcase the image of HaUI and Vietnam on the international stage.

6. Digitally Transforming Volunteer Activities

HaUI youth are leveraging digital platforms to revolutionize community service. Social media channels like Facebook, Zalo, and Instagram are used to mobilize support, share updates, and increase transparency. Dedicated websites and mobile apps for volunteer campaigns help streamline resources, connect volunteers and beneficiaries, and expand the outreach of charitable efforts. These efforts amplify the spirit of service and solidarity across communities.

In this digital era, the youth of HaUI stand united with 20 million young Vietnamese, ready to lead with vision, creativity, and commitment. Together, they are shaping a stronger, more innovative, and culturally rich Vietnam, proud and prepared to rise on the global stage.
