Honouring excellent teachers and students at all levels of 2015-2016 academic year

On the afternoon of February 17th 2017, a closing ceremony for the contest of excellent teachers and students at all levels of 2015 – 2016 academic year was held with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy –HaUI Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Bong - Vice Rector and Dr. Bui Thi Ngan – Vice Rector in order to review all the activities and honour outstanding units and individuals.

At the ceremony, 6 individuals with distinguished performances in the contest of excellent teachers at the city level, 4 units and 49 individuals winning the prizes in the contest of the university level, 16 individuals and teacher groups instructing students in the skill competitions of all levels and Olympic contest were honoured. Acknowledging and commending the teachers’ achievements in the teaching and learning competition, the University’s Party Committee and Board of Managements awarded certificates of merit to units, individuals and teacher groups.

In the 2015 – 2016 academic year, the excellent teacher and student competition achieved significant results, contributing to the University’s overall movement of best practice for teaching and learning. For many consecutive years, the movement has promoted the emulation of teaching and learning among the university’s teachers and students, promoting the exchange of learning experience. The recognition and selection of outstanding teachers for the contest of excellent teachers at higher levels and accomplished students for the contest of excellent students, Olympic contests and skill competitions of all levels have also been facilitated.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Tran Duc Quy –HAUI’s Secretary of Party Committee and Rector congratulated the units, the teachers with high achievements in the last academic year. He also showed his confidence and hoped that teachers would continue to develop their enthusiasm, efforts for good teaching and learning. This would promote comprehensive development movements and contribute to the improvement of training quality, bringing the university to a new high level.
