ICDL Testing Center Certification Ceremony

On January 26th, 2016, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) honored to receive the certification to be an accredited test center of the European Computers Driving License - ECDL Foundation. The participants of this ceremony included the representatives of the ECDL in Asia and Vietnam, the university governing board, the centre for foreign languages and informatics and a number of functional units of the university.

The ECDL Asian representative delivered his speech at the ceremony.

HaUI is considered one of the leading universities in Vietnam with modern facilities, sustainable training quality and enterprise-wide collaboration. Therefore, becoming the ICDL test center of the ECDL Foundation affords HaUI an opportunity to provide Vietnamese students with ECDL’s quality certification programs and ECDL certification. Due to its ability to objectively and accurately assessing the user’s skills to meet the needs of the recruitment agencies and education and training organizations, the ICDL certification is globally-recognised.

Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector, the representative of the university governing board received ECDL’s certification.

In addition, being the ICDL accredited test centre of ECDL is an opportunity for HaUI to standardise and enhance the competence and skills of the university lecturers, employees and students, which assists in improving the quality of the teaching and learning in the university.
