Jubilant Job fair 2016

With the aim to promote interaction between students and enterprises, Hanoi University of Industry (HAUI) organized “Job Fair 2016” on 23 April 2016.

Dr. Bui Thi Ngan, Vice Rector of the university gave a speech at the fair.

The fair which was held at campus 1 of the university - Cau Dien street, Minh Khai ward , Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi, attracted thousands of students.

Over 40 companies participated in the event.

Following the success of the job fair 2015, the job fair 2016 was expanded in both size and quality, attracting more than 40 domestic and joint-venture companies to give introduction, publicize their brands and employment opportunities as well as look for the best applicants.

The fair attracted thousands of students of HAUI to attend recruitment.

These are all prestigious and well-known companies of many different fields such as Cannon Vietnam, Cargill, Hanoi Textile Garment Company, Nestle Vietnam, etc.

In addition to exhibiting and consulting, many companies directly organized recruitment and evaluated students’ competence in various fields including IT, Mechanical Technology, Electrics- Electronics, English, Chemistry, Hotel, Business Managing, Accounting, Finance and Banking.

Bridge between students and employers

The fair was an effective bridge between HAUI students and employers. On the one hand, the students of this university were a potential source for recruitment. On the other hand, the companies provided them with boundless job opportunities at the event.

Looking for future jobs, students got free consultation from employers.

The job fair boosted the connection between the university and companies, enhanced the applicability of the academic curriculum. It also helped the university timely grab learners’ practical demand and companies’ recruiting criteria in the best way.
