Miss & Mister HaUI 2025: Showcasing the beauty, talent, and spirit of HaUI students

On the evening of April 10, 2025, the grand finale of the “Miss & Mister HaUI 2025 – Elegance and Talent Student Contest” illuminated the stage of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) with dazzling brilliance. The top 20 contestants, selected from nearly 200 participants across multiple challenging rounds, came together to showcase not only their beauty and talent but also the courage and intellect emblematic of HaUI students. The highest honors of the night were awarded to Đoàn Thị Hương from the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism and Lê Gia Bảo from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Their confident demeanor, sharp intellect, and outstanding performances earned the admiration of both judges and audience members alike.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Hồng Quân – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Nguyễn Văn Thiện – Vice Rector; Miss World Vietnam 2019 Lương Thùy Linh; and actor Bình An – a proud alumnus of the university, presented the Miss HaUI title to contestant Đoàn Thị Hương from the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism, and the Mister HaUI title to contestant Lê Gia Bảo from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Organized annually by the Youth Union and Student Association of Hanoi University of Industry, the “Miss & Mister HaUI” contest aims to honor not only the physical beauty but also the intellectual depth and moral character of HaUI students – the future global citizens in an era of integration and innovation.

The competition offered students a platform to express their individuality through art, communication, and creative thinking, while also underscoring their sense of responsibility and vision as young intellectuals. It was a powerful demonstration of a generation defined by ambition, resilience, cultural sophistication, and a desire to master advanced technologies for the sustainable development of the nation.

Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thị Hồng Nga – Principal of the School of Economics, Hanoi University of Industry; journalist Ngô Bá Lục – former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saostar.Vn; and Mr. Đỗ Minh Hiền – Secretary of the University Youth Union, presented the First Runner-up (Miss) title to contestant Đoàn Nguyễn Thu Giang from the School of Economics, and the First Runner-up (Mister) title to contestant Tạ Việt Hưng from the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering.

Mr. Nguyễn Tiến Tấn and Ms. Đỗ Thị Ngọc Ánh – Deputy Secretary of the University Youth Union; Ms. Trần Thị Hương Giang – President of the Student Union; and Miss Vietnam La Lam – Catwalk Director and representative of La Lam Catwalk Academy, presented the Second Runner-up (Miss) title to contestant Phùng Thị Như Quỳnh from the Faculty of Chemical Technology, and the Second Runner-up (Mister) title to contestant Hoàng Mạnh An from the School of Economics.

The Most Voted Contestant Award was presented to Nguyễn Công Minh from the School of Economics and Phùng Thị Như Quỳnh from the Faculty of Chemical Technology

The First Prize in the Response Segment was awarded to contestants Đoàn Thị Hương from the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism, and Tạ Việt Hưng from the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering.
