Seminar on training program for HaUI talented engineers of O-OKA Giken Company

On September 25, Mr Yoshinori Ooka - General Manager of O-OKA Giken Company chaired a seminar on training program for HaUI talented engineers with many attractive contents. Assoc.Prof.Dr Tran Duc Quy - Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) welcomed and discussed with the executives of O-OKA Giken Company.

Overview of the meeting

At the seminar, there was the appearance of 26 final-year students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering who were excellently accepted into the company's training program. The students had learnt about the formation and development as well as the strategic goals of O-OKA Giken.

The company also presented important contents about the training program, which gives an in-depth understanding of manufacturing gears based on precision forging/stamping technology. After finishing the training period, those 26 potential students have to undertake a final interview before being officially recruited to O-OKA Giken.

The training program for talented engineers is in the framework of the cooperation between HaUI and O-OKA Giken. The training consists of 7 topics presented over 8 months (from October 2019 to June 2020). Each topic will have specific contents and deployed to the students in 3 workshops maximum.

Overview of the seminar

Earlier, on February 20, 2019, Hanoi University of Industry signed a MOU with the O-OKA Group on joint training and recruiting of HaUI's graduates in the major of mechanical design, automotive gears manufacturing and some other fields. The two parties hope that there will be more extensive cooperation programs in the coming future.
