Study Tour to HTMP Organized |
On 28 September, 2011, 15 students and 3 lecturers of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Faculty of Business Management visited HTMP Mechanical Co., Ltd., one of the most excellent Vietnamese mold and die manufacturers.
HTMP introduced overview of the company. Mr. Tuan, Director, emphasized that students should learn basic knowledge such as the third-angle projection method and tolerance. He also explained that all engineers should spend a few years in the workshop before they work for the design department. Then, lecturers and students observed the factory to learn their up-to-date technologies and production management such as 5S and labor safety. In the Q&A session, students asked many questions on skills and knowledge required in HTMP. |
