The final match and award ceremony of “Female Student Football Tournament” 2017

On the afternoon of May 18th, 2017, the final match of “Female Student Football Tournament” 2017 between Faculty of Tourism team and Faculty of Business Management team took place with much excitement, closing the tournament with wonderful goals.

After one month of rigorous competing, garnering the particular interest of the university’s students and lecturers, the “Female Student Football Tournament” 2017 has come to the final match. Doctor Bui Thi Ngan, vice rector and Mr. Tran Ngoc Khanh, Secretary of the University Student Youth Union, Mr. Tran Xuan Kien, Dean of Faculty of Physical Education joined the spectators to cheer for the two teams.

During the second half of the match, the only goal scored by player number 37 of Faculty of Business Management team brought victory to her team, making them the champion of the tournament. Faculty of Tourism team, Faculty of Information Technology - Faculty of Chemical Engineering team finished in 2nd place and 3rd place respectively.

The organizers also granted an extra award “Miss Football 2017” to player Phan Thi Thao, Tourism Management class 4, intake 10.

The tournament has officially ended with a spirit of sportsmanship, unity, friendship and integrity. Throughout 20 exciting matches, the success of the tournament is a display of a passion for learning and practicing sports of HaUI students.
