Conference on preparation for training program evaluation according to ABET accreditation standards
On May 5, within the framework of the Project “Building University- Industry Learning and Development through Innovation and Technology (BUILD-IT) sponsored by the US Agency for International Development, was implemented by Arizona State University. Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) in collaboration with the expanded BUILD-IT project held a conference on preparation for training program evaluation according to ABET accreditation standards.
Speaking at the conference, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc – Vice-Rector of the University emphasized: In 2021, the University has implemented the project "Improving training quality to meet ABET accreditation standards" with the goal that there will be 05 training programs of 5 faculties (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Automotive, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Electronics and Faculty of Information Technology) meet ABET standards by 2023.

The Vice Rector expressed his hope that HaUI’s staff and lecturers would work diligently to master the content provided by ABET experts at the Conference.

ABET experts have consulted and clarified many issues on: structures to meet international accreditation standards, some suggestions to help faculties prepare well for the evaluation of training programs in the coming time.
