With the aim of developing 3D printing technology applied in mold manufacturing in Vietnam, the research team consisting of 05 students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tien Dung, successfully carried out the research project “Study on designing and manufacturing 3D printing equipment (AM) integrated on CNC milling machines to improve efficiency in plastic injection mold manufacturing”. The research was highly appreciated by the Acceptance Council and won the First Prize of the 13th Student Scientific Research Competition of Hanoi University of Industry.

Closing ceremony of the course on Programming Techniques and CNC Operation for Hanoi College of Electronic and Electro - Refrigeratory Technics was organized on December 1st, 2016 in HaUI.

Under the plan of Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) for national vocational skills testing and certification, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) cooperated with General Directorate of Vocational Training to undertake the national occupational skills evaluation for wedding (level 3), CNC metal cutting (level 3), cooling equipment operation and maintenance (level 2) with the broad participation of contestants from enterprises.
