Delegation of Hunan University, China paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry

On June 5, 2019, a delegation of HuNan University - China led by Mr. Cao Sheng Yuan - Vice Rector paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry. Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector of HaUI presided over the meeting.

Overview of the meeting

Hanoi University of Industry has collaborated with many Chinese universities. Among them, the cooperative relationship with Hunan University has been built for many years. In order to continue to improve the effectiveness of the relationship between the two sides, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan proposed 04 contents:

- To continue to build 2 + 2 training programs for students of HaUI who are studying Chinese (02 years study at HaUI and the last 2 years study at Hunan University); after graduation, students will receive dual bachelor degrees.

- To build a 1-year student exchange program at Hunan University for students who are studying English language and choose to study Chinese as a second language,

- For students who study other majors and wish to study 2 + 2 program, they will be trained for the first 2 years at HaUI (including specialization and Chinese language) and attend the last 2 years at Hunan University; those students will receive 2 bachelor degrees after graduation.

- To establish a Chinese Assessment Center - an academic exchange forum for lecturers, language experts and students of 2 universities.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Cao Sheng Yuan - Vice Rector of Hunan University expressed his pleasure to visit HaUI. He agreed with Dr. Bui Thi Ngan’s proposals. At this meeting, Hunan University also proposed a cooperation program in technical fields such as Mechanic, Electricity, Automation and Computer Science. Mr. Cao hopes that the cooperative relationship between the two parties will reach more cooperation programs in training and scientific research in the future.

Up to now, Hunan University and Hanoi University of Industry have been cooperating several programs such as "2 + 2" program in Telecommunication - Electronics and Business Management (trained 22 students), doctoral training program for 26 officials and lecturers of HaUI.
