Hannam University, Korea paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry

On January 24th, 2019, a delegation from Hannam University - Korea, led by Dr. Lee Duk Hoon - President, paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI).

Receiving the delegation was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Rector of HaUI, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector and representatives of International Cooperation Department, Faculty of Foreign Languages and Letco Company.

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy highly appreciated the initial results of the activities that have been implementing based on the contents of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on April 26th, 2018. He proposed the two universities' staffs to focus on completing the procedures for building a 2 + 2 cooperation program for Korean language training. Additionally, he suggested Hannam University to send experts to HaUI to support students who are studying Korean.

On behalf of Hannam University, Dr. Lee Duk Hoon expressed his sincere thanks for the warm welcome that HaUI's leaders gave to the delegation. Agree with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy’s suggestions, Dr. Lee Duk Hoon affirmed that he will soon plan to send experts to support HaUI in training Korean language. On this occasion, Dr. Lee Duk Hoon invited Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy and the school's leaders to pay a visit to Hannam University.

In the afternoon of the day, HaUI welcomed 30 students from Hannam University to visit and exchange with students from Korean Language Studies (Faculty of Foreign Languages, HaUI). At the meeting, the students of the two universities shared and learned about the two countries' languages and cultures. This exchange program is a premise for teachers and students exchange programs between the two parties in the future.
