Hanoi University of Industry cooperates with Xiangsihu College, China

On December 24th 2019, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector of HaUI and representatives of International Cooperation Center, Faculty of Foreign Languages welcomed and worked with a delegation from Xiangsihu College of Guangxi National University for Nationalities, China led by Ms. Tang Lina - Vice President. The meeting was to discuss on the prospects of cooperation between the two parties.

Overview of the meeting

At the meeting, Ms. Tang Lina - Vice President of Xiangsihu College expressed her pleasure to visit Hanoi University of Industry for the first time. She proposed that the two sides will develop cooperation programs such as students exchange; training students in some majors (science, economics and society); organizing short-term foreign language and thematic training courses. She also expects to increase academic exchanges and improve the qualifications of lecturers through lecturers exchange programs.

On behalf of HaUI, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan agreed with Ms. Tang Lina's proposals. She affirmed that Hanoi University of Industry would like to create best conditions for the cooperation. Introducing about the bachelor training program in Vietnamese and Vietnamese Culture will begin in 2020, she expects to receive Chinese students to enroll this course. As she said, the similarity between Vietnamese and Chinese culture is a favorable condition for the development of cooperative relations between the two parties.

At the end of the meeting, leaders of the two schools agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and deploy specific plans in the coming time.
