HaUI - VIHATEC promotes training cooperation
On the afternoon of December 8, 2022, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc - Vice Rector chaired a working session and signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and Vientiane-Hanoi Friendship Technical and Vocational College Lao PDR (VIHATEC).

Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc - Vice Rector of the University expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation and appreciation of the cooperation achievements between the two sides over the years.
Since 2011, Hanoi University of Industry and Vientiane-Hanoi Friendship Technical and Vocational College have signed a bilateral cooperation agreement. Over the years, the two sides have cooperated effectively and well implemented cooperation programs in undergraduate and postgraduate training for hundreds of Lao international students.

Representative of Vientiane Friendship Vocational Technical College - Hanoi, Rector Sengalounh Vongphouthone thanked Hanoi University of Industry for cooperating and supporting VIHATEC over the years. Mr. Sengalounh Vongphouthone appreciates the cooperation relationship between the two sides and wishes to have a deeper cooperation with Hanoi University of Industry to enhance the HaUI - VIHATEC relationship.
All things have been done for the purpose of cooperation in training high-quality human resources to meet the expectations of the two schools, contributing to promoting the special friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, even more meaningful in the context of the two countries celebrating the Vietnam - Laos Friendship and Solidarity Year 2022, the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the two countries.

Inheriting the achieved results, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc and Mr. Sengalounh Vongphouthone on behalf of the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in a number of areas of strength of Hanoi University of Industry such as teacher training support; student exchange; long-term and short-term educational training; supporting equipment and teaching aids; consulting on building training programs and laboratories; cooperating on scientific research and technology transfer.
