Final Seminar of HaUI-JICA Project and PR for TOT Model/Program Approved by MOIT and GDVT

In the afternoon of the 7^th of March 2017, HaUI-JICA Project Management Unit held the Project Final Seminar for promotion of “HaUI Technical Model”.

Attendants of the Final Seminar included Mr. Yasuo Fujita – Chief Representative of JICA Vietnam Office, Mr. Tomohiro Uchino - JICA Advisor (GDVT), HaUI-JICA Project Management Unit, Expert Team and guests from different vocational training institutions (VTIs) and enterprises.

"HaUI Technical Model" is the model that has been developed through JICA’s technical cooperation projects with HaUI, composed of curriculum reflecting labor market needs, technical improvement in targeted occupations, and enterprise partnership. HaUI Technical Model is has been adopted and disseminated at Technique Technology College (TTC) and College of Technology II (HVCT).

Project welcomed ideas and comments of Seminar attendants regarding TOT system in Vietnam and necessity of disseminating HaUI Technical Model, benefits of human resource development targeting vocational trainers, sustainability of vocational training-education when strengthening partnership with enterprises. Moreover, the Seminar received positive feedback on practical benefits of the Model.

Sharing experience at the Final Seminar, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hằng – Rector of College of Technology II (HVCT) and Mr. Nguyễn Đức Thọ - Rector of Technique Technology College (TTC), the two key VTIs currently implementing HaUI Technical Model, affirmed suitability of applying such Model to vocational training in Vietnam.

On behalf of HaUI, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan – Vice Rector expressed absolute willingness of HaUI to share its experience and conduct technical transfer. She also stressed HaUI’s firm commitment in managing technical transfer, especially TOT program, for other VTIs in Vietnam, based on HaUI Technical Model.

In other words, “HaUI Technical Model” and practical achievements at HaUI, TTC and HVCT contributed to upholding fruitful outcomes of HaUI-JICA Project, towards sustainable vocational training system.
