JICA Mission meets with HaUI

In the morning of 14th December 2016, JICA Mission met with Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), HaUI-JICA Project Manager, JICA Expert Team of the Project, and heads of functional departments of HaUI to discuss the future "Technical Cooperation Project Phase 4 in Vocational Training sector".

The meeting was under the detailed planning survey for future Technical Cooperation Phase 4 Project in vocational training sector between HaUI and JICA, following the previous discussion held on the 6th December 2016. Apart from discussion with HaUI’s Management, JICA Mission surveyed training facilities and equipment, and interviewed relevant trainers and counterparts of HaUI-JICA Project.

Mr. Nakahara – Leader of JICA Mission

Commenting on HaUI-JICA Project, Mr. Nakahara – Leader of JICA Mission stressed that HaUI has been considered one of the key, most influencing vocational training institutions in Vietnam, with success of activities of Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 Projects supported by JICA, contributing to achievements of JICA in the country. The Leader of JICA Mission emphasized that JICA would like to continue its cooperation HaUI for Phase 4 Project based on existing accomplishments.

On behalf of HaUI and HaUI-JICA Project Management Unit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trần Đức Quý, the Rector and Project Manager, expressed appreciation to JICA for such valuable support. He also affirmed that HaUI would be willing to participate in JICA-supported Phase 4 Project as well as ODA Loan Project, expressingcommitment to assure quality and progress of Project activities.
