Seminar on "Application and maintenance of WEDM"

On the 13^th December 2016, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), in cooperation with Mitsubishi Electric Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. organized training seminar on "Application and Maintenance of WEDM (wire electrical discharge machine)", which is short-term training course conducted by HaUI-JICA Project in association with Mitsubishi Electric Asia Pacific Co., Ltd.

The Seminar took place from 13^th to 15^th of December 2016 at the WEDM Workshop on the 1^st floor of A7 building, Vietnam-Japan Center (VJC) of HaUI. The first day in the series of 3-day seminar was designed to provide introduction on WEDM market trends in South East Asia countries, Wire Cut MV, Sinker EDM EA-S, OKK on High Performance CNC Machine Center for Die Mold Industry, Machine demo 3D drawing to NC program (using CAD/CAM), Machining Demonstration on Punch and Die cutting, Machine iAT demonstration, etc. for vocational trainers, especially those of key institutions. The following two days, the 14^th and 15^th of December, were for enterprises who are clients of Mitsubishi.

Success of the Seminar was thanks to active participation of trainers from HaUI, and 10 target ODA Loan Project institutions including Technique Technology College (TTC), College of Technology II, attendants of Unify Technology Co., Ltd. and Mitsubishi Electric Asia Pacific Co., Ltd.

Upon the completion of first day, HaUI and the Project awarded certificates to participating trainers.
