Handover of technical equipment supported by JICA

On the date of 20 March 2015, Hanoi University of Industry officially received technical equipment (including Wire-EDM and 3DCAD software) supported by Japan through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Vietnam.

The Handover Ceremony was attended by Mr. Phương Hoàng Kim – Director General of Human Resource Development Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade – MOIT), Mr. Lê Hữu Phúc – Director General of International Cooperation Department (MOIT), Mr. Cao Văn Sâm – Deputy Director General of General Department of Vocational Training (GDVT – MOLISA), Ms. Yoko Tsuruya – First Secretary of Japanese Embassy, Mr. Chikahiro Masuda – Senior Representative of JICA Vietnam Office, Mr. Takashi Matsushita – Senior Advisor (JICA Vietnam Office), and Mr. Yorio Kanemaru – Chief Advisor of HaUI-JICA Project.

Expressing the since thanks to leaders of MOIT, JICA Vietnam Office, GDVT, Dr. Trần Đức Quý – Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) revealed that HaUI will start new training field of mold processing in the near future, based on practical needs, with great support of managing agencies. Therefore, the WEDM will become significant equipment for training activities at HaUI.

From outcomes and achievements of HaUI-JICA Project, Mr. Kim (MOIT) – Project Director appreciated efforts of HaUI and the Project, and considered HaUI as one of the leading training institutions of MOIT to contribute to education and training development based on social needs
