In the afternoon of October 15, 2013 the working group of JICA-HaUI Project, consisting of Mr. Yorio Kanemaru – Chief Advisor, Mr. Vu Dinh Thom – Director of Vietnam-Japan Center, and other members of the Project, had visited and surveyed the TOT scheme of Vinh University of Technology Education.
Ms. Hoang Thi Minh Phuong – Ph.D., Vice Rector, and other leaders of Science-International Cooperation Department and the Heads of Electricity, Electronics, and Machining faculties of Vinh University of Technology had welcomed the Project working group.
Vinh University of Technology Education has the function to train vocational trainers at the university and college level; to train the human resource at the university and college level for the fields of technology and economics; to provide advanced vocational training. Currently, the university is instructed by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs to formulate a project to develop the university into an education institution that produces trainers at the regional and international level.
At the meeting, the working group introduced about Hanoi University of Industry and the project, and also learned about the TOT scheme related to the current policies and regulations of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, especially the training of trainers in Electricity, Electronics, and Machining fields.
Later, the working group took a tour around the university and ended the survey visit successfully at 17:00.
